Gryphonwood Press has released an Author's Preferred Edition of Date.
In addition to the original tale, it includes character illustrations (by Mario Barraza) of the main characters (PCs) and some of the major secondary characters (NPCs).
Also there are maps, an interview with me by the Dueling Ogres, and a preview of the upcoming novel: Monsters, Maces and Magic: Revived.

While doing a little mental brainstorming for a potential new Dane Maddock Adventure to be co-written with David Wood, where I let my mind drift my thoughts went to Burn Notice, one of my favorite series, as well as a Weird Al song, Party in the CIA.
Okay, if you're familiar with Burn Notice, and the Weird Al song, you might get the connection. I am not sure the the starring character of Burn Notice, Michael Weston, would appreciate the song, but I bet Sam Axe (one of his cohorts) would have a good laugh. Am I wrong?
