On the author scale of things I am a small fish swimming in Lake Erie. Stirred up recently is use of pirated novels (and other copywritten work), used for AI training. Obviously without permission in either case.
Still, it appears that at least ten of my novels have been scooped up. This concern is already in court, but whatever the settlement, if any, it is highly unlikely to benefit me.
Such is life.
