I agree completely!
ReplyDeletePeople are paying to be entertained but will react strongly if they discover you did not know what you were telling. We must remember that it is vital to know your subject - and that means taking the time to look into every aspect of the story.
I would guess it takes 10 hours of research for 1 hour of writing.
Dale Day, you may be right in it averaging out to 10 hours of research on an unfamiliar topic to get one hour of quality writing in.
