Memorable/Effective Movie Opening

`
Don't know how many who visit my blog have seen Adventures in Babysitting, but I am guessing more than a few. For my money, this is one of the more catchy and memorable openings--a solid song by the Cyrstals, and Elizabeth Shue performing. (Has anyone ever read the titlework/credits during the opening scene?)

It's just a fun movie. Don't foundations save important or relevant films of certain eras? I'd vote for this one for the 1980s.

  1. Terry, Thank you. Love this movie, the song, and of course the 80's.

I hate when the redo stuff, but doesn't this sound familiar? It's a little different, but the basic concept. But nothing will bet the original fun loving 'Adventures in Babysitting.'

The Sitter. Noah is watching a neighbor's kids. He takes to the streets to hook up his girlfriend, but ends up on the run from a drug lord.

  3. Cher and Angie, good to see I'm not the only one who views the beginning of Adventures in Babysitting a strong one, and a good movie overall.
