Influences: Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger
Virtually every writer is influenced by what they learned and enjoyed growing up. The movie, Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger, really captured my attention as a youth.
Heck, if you've read Flank Hawk (and the other novels in the First Civilization's Legacy Series) and have seen this movie, you may recognize that the ogres in my novels are reminiscent of the troglodyte in the film.

That's a good one! Haven't seen it in a long time. Many sci fi and fantasy movies influenced my writing as well as books in the genres.
